Taffy Jack's is difficult to describe to people because there aren't many examples to which it can be compared. You almost have to see it to believe it. But...we'll give it a try. The room is decorated with the most incredible assortment of sports memorabilia and historical artifacts, some of which include an old rowing scull, an old silver lacrosse trophy, the front end of a vintage car, moose antlers, an old train set (that works!), old ship gauges, and old photographs of historic figures from Nelson's past. And these comprise only a small sample of the many historical treasures that await you when you enter the club.

Most recently in 2005, Taffy Jack’s saw the opening of its chic, leather-clad smoking room open up called the Benwell Lounge, named after a former owner. Here you will find a more ambient mood complete with a pool table, a 46” plasma screen t.v., and a vintage collection of famous jazz players adorning the walls.

One could literally spend hours taking it all in. In fact, Taffy Jack's is more like a museum than a nightclub, but you will find, nevertheless, that it is the most popular nightclub in all of Nelson. Lineups are common during the weekends, so make sure you arrive early -and bring your dancing shoes!
